Product Care
How to care for and repair neoprene:
-
Keep neoprene out of direct sunlight, which can cause the material to dry out and crack. Only allow the product to be exposed to the sun when being worn.
-
Avoid placing the neoprene product into or near a direct heat source, such as a clothes dryer. This can cause stiffening, drying and cracking.
-
Allow any neoprene products to dry flat or hanging up. This will ensure that folds
do not occur during the drying process, which could lead to weak spots in the material.
-
Rinse any neoprene products with plain water after they have been exposed to salt water or chemicals. This will ensure these do not cause any damage to the material.
-
Repair small holes or tears in neoprene with Aquaseal Wader or Boot Repair Kit (industry standard for repairs) which are available at most sporting good stores. Repair the hole while it is still small to ensure that the damage does not become more extensive.
